What does a rich self-acknowledgment practice look like

What does a rich self-acknowledgment practice look like

Every time I share a training, I bring up the challenges and things we could do better. Today, I want to switch it up and instead have an acknowledgment session.

Self-acknowledgement is one of the strategies we exercise in our programs and whenever I do my complimentary training, as I am doing in May of this year.

The Power of Self-Acknowledgment:

How is your self-acknowledgment practice?

You may not have one yet. Here’s what it looks like. I want to acknowledge you today because…

You're watching these videos.

You're attending trainings.

You're seeking support through coaching.

You're looking for resources to elevate you on your leadership journey.

You know how challenging navigating these environments can be. Despite all that, here you are. Despite things that have gotten in your way before, you are still doing the job. You are still showing up, and in many cases, you are crushing it.

What do you think will shift within you if you were to implement a regular self-acknowledgement practice?

Nurturing Resilience Amid Challenges:

Sometimes, we carry baggage with us. Despite all that, we show up, we collaborate, and we lead our teams; whether we do it in an excellent way or whether we are struggling, we are still stepping up. I want to acknowledge that you are in the ring.

It's very easy for folks standing along the sidelines to watch and criticize. Unless someone is in the ring with you, they don't have the right to judge or criticize you because they have no idea what it's like to walk in your shoes.

You keep showing up for your organization and your company despite the challenges, despite all the changes constantly coming at us from every direction.

One of Our Secret Weapons:

I don't want you to get the impression that everything we do has to be about improving ourselves and working toward that next level. That next level isn't only on the organizational chart. To me, the next level is also the next evolution of who we are on a soul level, who we are as people and humans, and who we are here to truly become.

Our goal, and my number one mission, is to help you become who you are here to be in any way that I can, using my experiences, background, knowledge, education, and certifications to support you in doing that in the best way possible.

One of the ways we do that is one of my secret weapons from which all my clients benefit: the internal family system with Richard Schwartz.

The internal family system is an intricate and extremely powerful coaching tool because it's where we talk about the parts of you that are amazing and the parts of you that you're not so happy with.

As we coach together, one of the things I notice is those parts of you that could be dragging you down, that could make things challenging for you, that could make you feel afraid of speaking up or fearful of developing your team in fear that they may take over or overshadow you. Those are what we call your shadows. During our coaching sessions, I love to call those out. With your permission, we explore these shadows and parts that aren't playing to your tune and you being your highest self.

When we coach your parts, expose them, and discover what they really want from you and what scares them, you learn a wealth of information about yourself that comes directly from you in a very playful way.

If you are into self-discovery and want to continue developing and uncovering those parts of yourself that perhaps you haven't tapped into yet, I invite you to set up a strategy session with me so we can examine your current challenges and twelve-month goals.

We can create a compelling vision and then figure out what's getting in the way of squashing the challenges and going after your goals from a place of love, abundance, opportunities, and a growth mindset versus scarcity.

In the meantime, I want you to know you have everything you need. You are whole, you are complete, you are loved, and you are safe.

Live with purpose, live with joy!
